Terry P. Sheets
1948—2023

A Spokane native, Terry was born to Lorraine (Bakken) and Larry C. Sheets, the first of four children. He graduated from North Central High School and went on to the Devry Institute of Technology in Phoenix, AZ. Terry returned to Spokane and lived in the area most of his life. However, pursuing his career as an electronics technician and computer engineer involved traveling throughout the Western United States. Terry’s expertise with all facets of portable asset trackers empowered workers in large and small industries, the U.S. Bureau of Mines, public utilities, and various areas of agriculture. Terry was an avid reader on many subjects, but he especially enjoyed science and history. He was a devotee of 60’s Rock ‘N’ Roll, loved fast cars, the outdoors, collecting books and rocks and cherished his home on Long Lake. Terry is survived by his wife of 20 years, Donna Woodard; siblings Brenda (Denny) Lippert, Michael (Lynda) Sheets, Loretta (Curt) Johnson; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of Terry’s life will be held in spring 2024. Date and location TBA.
