Shawn Russell Crandall

Shawn Russell Crandall died August 2, 2021 at his home on Deep Creek. Shawn was born November 1, 1970 to Gary and Jan Crandall of Northport Washington. Shawn grew up in Northport and Spokane. He attended Spokane Junior Academy, Upper Columbia Academy and graduated from Mead High School in 1988. He married Laurie Buffan in 1989. Shawn worked in the family business for many years and owned and operated a mobile home park. Shawn is survived by his wife Laurie Crandall, daughters Summer Crandall and Savannah Crandall, brother Lane Crandall, sister Heather Threadgill and his mother Janice Crandall. He is preceded in death by father Gary Crandall, grandfather/grandmother Clifford and Elsie Crandall, Melvin and Gertie Hubert, great aunt and uncle Les and Alice Martella, Shawn loved the outdoors, anything to do with riding motorcycles, snowmobiles, 4 wheelers etc. Shawn loved going to Northport and getting out of the city. He had a gift of operating heavy equipment. He loved visiting with family and friends; he took after his grandfather Melvin Hubert who also loved going and visiting with family and friends. A graveside service will be held at the Forest Home Cemetery in Northport Washington on August 27 at 11 am. There will be a celebration of life at his and Laurie’s home at 2987 Aladdin Road on Deep Creek following the graveside service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Spokane Humane Society in Shawn’s name.
