Rafael A. Gray

GRAY, Rafael A. (Age 60) – Born on October 31, 1958 in Harrison, Michigan; entered into rest on December 26, 2018 in Spokane, Washington. A Spokane area resident for 37 years. Rafael served in the U.S. Air Force taking him to Turkey, Germany and Saudi Arabia. Rafael worked as a Corrections Officer for Spokane County Juvenile Court for 33 years before retiring in 2016. He enjoyed video games, reading Stephen King novels, music, and watching the Seahawks. Also, a big history buff. Rafael is survived by his wife Colleen of 37 ½ years; sons, Adrian J. Gray (wife, Jessica) of Spokane; son, Travon M. Gray of Denver; brother, Bret Gray of Minnesota; mother, Barbara Gray of Virginia; and four grandchildren. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 4305 N. DIVISION, SPOKANE, WA. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
