Paula Ann Claussen

Paula Ann Claussen (Quine), 88, of Spokane, Washington, passed away on November 8, 2023. She was born on September 26, 1935.

Paula was a remarkable woman who lived a life full of purpose and dedication. She was known for her active and strong-willed nature, always seeking opportunities to make a difference in the lives of others. Paula worked for many years as a Dental Assistant, and then spent many years traveling as a volunteer for the Women's Club, touching the lives of countless individuals across the Pacific Northwest. She then dedicated herself to working for the March of Dimes, continuing her mission to bring positive change to communities far and wide.

Throughout her life, Paula had the opportunity to reside in various cities due to her work with the March of Dimes, including New York, North Hollywood, and Billings, Montana. However, her heart always remained in Spokane, where she returned to care for her beloved husband, Jerry, during his battle with cancer. Paula's unwavering support and strength served as the rock of the family during this challenging time.

Paula is survived by her three sons, Mike and his wife Teresa, Paul and Mark and his wife Jodi, as well as her sister Kathy. She also leaves behind a legacy of love in her six grandchildren as well as spouses and eight great-grandchildren.

A ceremony to celebrate Paula's life will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Riplinger Funeral Home, followed by the graveside service.
