MALONE, Marlene Kay (Wilson), 64, passed away in Spokane, WA on September 24th, 2022 peacefully with her family by her side. Marlene was born in Havre, Montana on December 7th, 1957 to Andrew and Mary M. Wilson 1 hour after her twin sister Darlene. Marlene attended school in Havre graduating in 1976 from Havre High. Marlene married the love her life, Michael Malone on August 15, 1981. They just celebrated their 41st anniversary. They have made their home in Spokane for 30+ years. Marlene loved every animal and any little stray that found their way to her for love and care. She loved watching her nieces Emily, Jenna and Jenny grow up and tried to attend as many school and sport events as possible, even when she was sick. Marlene was a wonderful homemaker, hostess and cook. She loved making holiday dinners for her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, half-sisters Maxine Catt and Mae Giesick, great nephew Bobby Vernon. Surviving her are her husband Mike, twin sister Darlene Sharp (John) Spokane, WA, Nieces Emily Sharp (Brandon Strojek) Phoenix, AZ, Jenna Sharp and Jenny Sharp Spokane, WA. Brother’s in-law Ned Malone (Delonna) and Bob Malone Havre,MT, Sister in-law Barb Jones, LA, AND not forgetting her little dog Teddy, who she loved so much! In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Pet Savers in Spokane or your local animal shelter. Funeral service will be held, Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 2:30 P.M. at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME, 4305 N DIVISION, SPOKANE, WA 99207. Interment will be with family at Highland Cemetery, Havre, Montana.
