Mark Elton Carlson

July 14, 1944 – October 14, 2025

Now home with the Lord.

Mark was born in Spokane, WA to Everett & Myrtle Carlson. He was the 4th boy out of 5 with one older sister. Mark passed away peacefully from a long, courageous fight with Lewy Body Dementia.

After graduation from John Rogers high school, he joined the Navy and served his country honorably for 3 years.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, 2 older brothers and his sister.

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Susan; brothers Carl & Keith; 2 sons; 4 bonus children; 9 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tue. Oct. 21, 2025 from 10am-6pm at Riplinger Funeral Home, 4305 N Division St. A Funeral Service will be held at 2pm on Wed., Oct 22, 2025 also at Riplinger Funeral Home. Mark will be laid to rest at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake at 1pm on Mon. October 27th.
