Marjorie May Herberg

PASSED AWAY PEACEFULLY ON SEPTEMBER 27TH 2018. SHE WAS BORN May 27th 1923 to Mildred and Leonard Caughey. She met the love of her life Al at her grandparents farm on the little Spokane river. She and Al enjoyed traveling and entertaining with their many friends. Marjorie was an accomplished watercolor painter, gardener, and hostess extrordinair to her family and friends. She loved Gonzaga basketball and never missed a game. She worked many years as a cook at Logan Elementary where her picture remains to this day. After retiring she volunteered at Holy Family Hospital. Marjorie is preceeded in death by her parents, husband, and sister. She is survived by son Brent (Stephanie) grandsons Scott (Nila) Aaron and grandchildren Anna, Anjok, Carly, Rhine, Annety, and Jennifer, niece Nancy, Brad (Lorie) All who will miss her kindness terribly.The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to all the wonderful caregivers and neighbors Margie has had over the last years. Riplinger Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements .A celebration of her life will be at a later date.
