Loraine A. Lebo Orness

Loraine A. Lebo Orness, 92, passed away August 7, 2026. She was born in Bowman, North Dakota on May 10, 1934 and was the eldest child of Norman and lone Lebo. In August of 1941, at seven, she migrated with her family to Tekoa, WA. Loraine graduated from Tekoa High School in 1952. After graduation she moved to Spokane and met her husband, Kenny. Loraine enjoyed working for Washington Trust Bank several years before having her children. She then made her life as a mother and homemaker. She enjoyed reading, music and caring for her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Kenneth P. Orness; and her three siblings: Mavis Dittberner, Allen Lebo and Lavone Lebo.She is survived by her daughter Karla White (Steve); son Gary Orness Sr. (Toni); and three grandchildren: Jason White (Noel), Kira Townsend (Jon), Gary Orness Jr (Emily) all of Spokane; 6 great-grandchildren, and sister-in-law Mikey Lebo of Idaho, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 10am on Sat. August 15, 2026 at Riplinger Funeral Home, 4305 N Division St., Spokane.
