Lola Marie Putnam, 88, passed away peacefully in her home in Spokane, Washington, on May 11, 2025. Lola was born on May 20, 1936, in Yakima, Washington.
As a long-time member of the Order of Eastern Star, Lola demonstrated her commitment to service and leadership, holding the revered position of Worthy Matron. Her passion for the organization reflected her generous spirit and desire to foster connections with those around her. She found great joy in the art of sewing, creating many things for Eastern Star as well as bazaars.
Lola’s legacy is carried on by her loving family: sons, Casey Putnam and Arthur (Kim) Putnam, as well as numerous grand and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arthur Putnam, and 2 sons: Stewart and Doyle Putnam, in eternal rest.
The loss of Lola is deeply felt by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Riplinger Funeral Home, 4305 N. Division St. in Spokane. The burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Terrace Cemetery at 12:30 PM. A reception honoring Lola will take place following the burial at CityLight Church, 5601 N Jefferson St, Spokane.
