Lisa Linn Cummins

January 29, 1960 — October 6, 2023

Spokane

Lisa Linn Baker, born to Melvin and Fonda Baker on January 29, 1960, was loved and cherished by all who knew her. Lisa had one brother, Dale. She was a graduate of Shadle Park high school before moving on to Spokane Falls Community College, then to EWU to pursue a career in teaching.

In July of 1982, Lisa married Bob Layne, and together they had two wonderful sons: David and Kyler. For most of her life she worked in the service industry. Anyone who knew Lisa knows the warm and caring individual she was. She connected with her customers, and was love and appreciated by all she worked with.

In 1997, Lisa met Paul Cummins and they married. With their blended family full of children and grandchildren, together they lived a happy life. At the time of her passing she had 2 children; 2 step-children: Jennifer and Michael; and 10 grandchildren. She loved each and every one of them unconditionally, and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with them.

On October 6, 2023 Lisa passed from an unexpected heart attack following a routine procedure. She left us way too soon. Her loved ones are finding comfort in knowing she is with the Lord now, and she is free of pain.
