In Loving Memory of Letha Margaret Sacherer

Letha Margaret Sacherer was born on March 10, 1932, in Topeka, Kansas, to Emil and Ruth Walters. She was the youngest of three siblings, with her sister Lois, who is 97 years old, and her late sister Lucille.

Letha was raised on the farmland of Kansas. Shortly after she was born, her family moved to California where Letha met the love of her life, Albert Kenneth, at just four years old. A few years later, Letha and her family returned to Kansas, but throughout the years, their families remained close.

On March 8, 1953, Letha and Albert were married. Together, they shared a wonderful life filled with love, family, travel, and devotion to one another. As Albert served in the military, Letha stood faithfully by his side. Together, they raised their 3 children, Gwen Yvonne, Anthony Rene and Jeffrey Owen. They built a life that became an example of true love and commitment. They were a couple everyone could aspire to be.

Letha and Albert eventually settled in Cheney, Washington, where their children graduated from high school. Cheney became their home, where grandchildren came to visit and where they spent the remainder of their lives together, continuing to love and care for one another.

Letha was preceded in death by her precious husband, Albert; her father, Emil Walters; her step-father, Clarence Ely; her mother, Ruth Ely; her son, Jeffery Owen; and her great-granddaughter, Maycie Brown.

She is survived by her loving family, including her daughter, Gwen Sayler; her son, Anthony Sacherer; her grandchildren, Denise Sayler, Briana(Ronnie) Bozeman, John(Amy) Sayler, Rainy Zimmerman, Jennifer Laie, Jared Sacherer, and Joshua Sacherer; as well as many other great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Letha leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, family, devotion, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
