Keri Tichey

Keri Kay Johnston Tichey
June 4th, 1962 - May 10th, 2026

Keri was born to James S. Johnston and Donna Kay Johnston (Nee De Young) with her big, beautiful eyes.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother John William Johnston who passed in infancy, and her grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, and her beloved stepmother, Judy Thorpe.

She was a fighter. Many did not see this, but then again, many didn’t know what she was dealing with.

She met the love of her life in Adam Tichey, a confirmed bachelor who loved her beyond imagination. They were married on June 19th, 2011. Many times, she expressed how wonderful he was to her.

She is survived by her children: Rachel Johnston, James Nason (Tammi), Jeremy Johnston (Fabi), and Beth (who was adopted by heart); her siblings: Lori Erdman (Michael), Edward Nelson, Cindy Lively (Eric), stepsister Jodie Verhaag (Adam), and Chad Alexander; her grandchildren: Aspen, Mikayla, Breidyn, Mariah (Dallas), Angel, Samantha, Logan, Alex, Austin (Anthony), Jesse (Dallas) Elijah, Aiden, Abel, Alex, Juliet, Jasmine, and Roman; her 5 great-grandchildren; and her mother-in-law Scott Koerner (who she loved very much)

Keri had a heart of gold. She wasn’t perfect, but she was perfect for us and she is missed beyond belief.
