Karen S. Thornton

On the evening of December 23, 2018 we lost a wonderful, wonderful woman much sooner than we all expected. Karen was taken from us and reunited with her late husband Shane, and are walking hand in hand on the beaches of Oregon. If you knew Karen, you would know her family lost their rock, their very soul. To Jennifer, Joe, Tim and Emily she was their biggest supporter. She loved the pants off y’all and she was always there for you. So very, very proud of the people you’ve become. To Jason, Beth and Tonni, it was “welcome to the family, no questions asked”. She loved you too, as you made her children happy. To Betsy, Patch, Toria, Gavin, Grace, Hailey and the tots, she was a larger than life gramma. She could fix anything for you, all the ice cream you wanted. She loved us all so very deeply. We were her world from FNDN to Oregon coast vacations. Rest in peace and love. We will remember you and smile. Services at Riplinger Funeral Home, 4305 N.
