Jean Rosalie Jewell Baker

Baker, Jean Rosalie Jewell Day March 13 1938 – March 26 2021 On March 26th 2021, Jean took one last spin on the slot machine and joined many family members and friends in heaven. She was a breast cancer survivor in 2001, but unfortunately, it returned in June of 2020 as Pancreatic Cancer. Jean was born and raised in Chattaroy, Wa to Herbert and Amy Day on March 13th 1938. She attended Chattaroy Elementary and Riverside High School. She never graduated high school, as at age 13 she met an older boy at a dance and he stole her heart, Lyle Baker from Colbert. They were married when she was 17 just before the beginning of her senior year. Mom’s service was in April and she was adamant that there be No picture and Dad followed her wishes. Their daughters realize that a picture is worth a thousand words. So forgive us Mom, but you and Dad were the best parents two daughters could have and this is our tribute to you.
