Gwen was welcomed on October 22nd, 1937 in Colfax, WA by Wendell, Arlene, and big brother Elwin Allen. She grew up in Pullman, WA and graduated from Pullman High School. She moved to Spokane after high school to attend Kinman Business College. While there, she met John Wyman who was stationed at Fairchild Air Force Base. They Married April 27th, 1957 and celebrated 60 years of marriage. Early in their marriage they moved to Costa Mesa, California where their two daughters Wendy and Nancy were born. They returned to Spokane in 1967 where they lived the rest of their lives. Gwen worked for Central Premix for many years in payroll and retired from there in 1990. After her retirement, Gwen and John bought a home with a pool in north Spokane where their granddaughters Samantha and Caitlin spent many summers. In 2008 Gwen and John moved to Riverview retirement community where they were active members. Gwen was an active PEO for 42 years and enjoyed the time with her sisters. She was very proud when her daughter went to Cottey College. Her proudest moment of all was her four great grand children. Gwen would love to be remembered for her love of all things Vera Bradley.
