George Edward Gettig

 Ed Gettig: 11/10/37- 8/4/18 Went to meet Jesus on Aug. 4th, 2018. Preceded in death by his father (George), Mother (Jeanette), Brother (Ted), Sister (Elda). One Surviving  sister Juanita Patterson. Survived by the love of his life, Bette Gettig. Married for 62 years. He had three beautiful children: Mike Gettig, John Gettig and Debbie Heden. He  loved his seven grandchildren: Aaron, Stacey, Randi, Danny,  Kevin, Bradley and Crystal. He adored his 5 grandkids: Parker, Greta, Elijah, Amia and Sammy. He also had numerous  nieces and nephews. He owned Spokane Roofing and retired at age 49. He would do anything for his family. His hobbies were watching his family having fun, fishing and hunting. He  also received many ribbons for his outstanding, beautiful and breath taking carving. His strength, laughter, knowledge, hugs, birthday songs and stories will forever be  missed. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Riplinger Funeral  Home, 4305 N. Division Spokane, WA 99207. In lieu of  Donations of flowers, donations will be excepted to Church  of Christ on Box 282 Reynolds Creek Rd. Cusick, WA 99119.  May you soar on wings like Eagles!
