Gary Lee Wing

WING, Gary Lee - entered into rest at the age of 83 on March 30, 2022 surrounded by his wife and daughters. Born in Spokane, Washington on April 26, 1938 to Jesse James and Ada Wing, Gary graduated from North Central High School, served with the Air Force until 1961, and worked for Deaconess Hospital for more than 30 years as engineer and boilermaker. Gary is survived by his wife of fifty-nine years Rebecca, daughters April, May and June and four granddaughters Vicky, Rachel, Cora and Vivian. Gary is remembered as an avid outdoorsman, fisherman, and berry picker. He was especially known for his kindness to animals. Memorial services for Gary will be held at the Washington State Veteran’s Cemetery located at 21702 Espanola Road in Medical Lake, WA on Friday April 29, 2022 from 12:45 – 1:30PM. A gathering for family and friends will follow at the Cheney Masonic Lodge, 106 College Ave, Cheney WA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Spokane or a charity of personal choice.
