Florence Ione Kleven

Florence Ione Kleven died peacefully on February 27, 2023 at her residence in Lynnwood, WA.  She was 92 years old.   She was born in Northwood, ND on January 26, 1931, the middle of 8 children.  Her husband, Elmer Kleven preceded her in death in 2013.  They were married 62 years.  A devoted mother and grandmother she is survived by two children, Greg Kleven of Anacortes, WA, and Jan Nguyen of Lynnwood, WA; four grandchildren, Dane Kleven of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, Matthias Kleven of London, England; Lauren Nguyen of Seattle, WA and Nick Nguyen of NY, NY, and a great granddaughter, Carmen Kleven of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA.  She spent most of her married life in Spokane where she raised her family and was very active in her church, Our Saviour’s Lutheran.
