Edwin Edward Weber

Edwin Edward Weber entered into rest on Thursday, January 5, 2023 in Spokane. Ed was born in Yakima, WA to Christan and Emelie (Nathan) Weber. He attended local schools in Yakima and graduated from Yakima Senior HS. After school Ed enlisted in the United States Army. Following his discharge, Ed married the love of his life, Mona F. (Millhorn) Weber in November 1953. Together they raised three loving children, Janet, Marsha and David. Ed worked for Nalley’s, then shortly after Ed and Mona purchased and operated Spokanite Cleaners (until retiring in 2001). During retirement, Ed and Mona enjoyed traveling across the world and volunteering at various charities around Spokane. Ed was a Board member of Governors for the Shriners Children Hospital, Ed was raised as a Master Mason in Mt. Adams Lodge #227 Yakima, Ed was involved in the Scottish rite of Freemasonry, served in the Palomino Patrol, served in the Adelphi Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, a Charter Member of the Ancient Algerian Order of the Montana Sheep Herders, and was a Charter Member of the Legion of Honor.

He is survived by his children, Janet (Doug) Babin (Tracy, Evan), Marsha (Mark) Swenson (Paul, Andrea), and David (Inga) Weber (Chris, Jennifer, Jason), all of Spokane; twelve precious great-grandchildren; and his younger brother Randal Broeckel.

For those wishing, viewing will be, on Wednesday, January 11^th, between the hours of 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME, N 4305 DIVISION. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, on Friday, January 13, 2023, at Riplinger Funeral Home.
