E Etta Tederman

January 3, 1929 — June 21, 2021

On June 21, 2021, God whispered “It’s time. Come with me” and E. Etta Tederman entered the glories of eternity at age 92. Etta was born January 3, 1929 to Maurice and Stella Dolan Pillers in Mabton, WA in the Yakima Valley. Etta is the third of seven children, older brothers Lee and Charlie and younger brothers Elbert and Larse and younger sisters Vera and Alice. She is survived by Vera and Larse. She married Robert B. Tederman in 1954 and had 56 years together before Bob passed in 2010. Two daughters, Mary Grier (Jim) and Nancy Bunker (Richard) survive. Grandchildren Sara Wilson (Chris), Raymond Bunker (Danielle), Patrick Shores (Emma), Megan Bunker, Step-grandchildren Sean Grier (Ashley) and Kelsey Steeves (Jevon). To date, 8 great-grandchildren, Alyssia Wilson, Lindsey Wilson, Nathan Wilson, Tyson Grier, Paxton Grier, Hadley Grier, Jett Steeves and Cara Shores. She was Activity Director at Lilac City Convalescent Center for 10 years. She was a member of Whitworth Belles Garden Club, Eastern WA Genealogical Society, Inland Empire Stamp Club, VASA (Swedish) Lodge. Known as flower lady for her sharing of bouquets to shut-ins at Lilac City and Riverview Retirement Center. Etta was active church member in Country Homes Christian Church and when she and Bob moved to Riverview had joint membership at Mission Avenue Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers memorials to American Cancer Society or to the memorial fund of Country Homes Christian Church. Private family services were held on Saturday, June 26, 2021.
