Delores Sundquist

December 8, 1936 — March 7, 2024

Delores Sundquist was born to Rudolph and Lydia (Miller) Wall on December 8, 1936 in McLean County, North Dakota.  She grew up in and around Wilton, North Dakota and graduated from Wilton High School, class of 1955.  On January 14, 1956 she married Harley Sundquist.  They had two children, a daughter Wanda and a son Randal.  In 1965 they moved their family from Bismarck, North Dakota to Billings, Montana.  

Delores worked as a bank teller in Bismarck, North Dakota, and at various bookkeeping positions in Billings, Montana.  She retired in 1986.  Harley and Delores subsequently moved to Deadman’s Basin near Shawmut, Montana where they enjoyed retired life.  Harley Sundquist passed away in 1998.  Later Delores moved to Spokane, Washington in 2003 to live near her son, Randal Sundquist.

Delores enjoyed camping, fishing, and snowmobiling with her family.  When she retired she traveled to Arizona during winter months to get away from the snow and cold.

Delores Sundquist was preceded in death by her parents Rudolph and Lydia Wall, husband Harley Sundquist, and brothers Robert Wall and Eugene Wall.  She is survived by her daughter Wanda Sundquist-Dietz and son Randal (Laura) Sundquist.

The family would like to thank Sacred Heart Medical Center and Spokane Health and Rehabilitation/fka ProMedica Skilled Nursing and Rehab/fka Manor Care Health Services.

A graveside service will be held Friday, May17, 2024 at 11:00am with Smith Funeral Home, Billings, Montana.  Cremation took place and interment will be at Mountview Cemetery, Billings Montana.  Delores will be buried with her husband, Harley Sundquist.
