Debbie Sue Binder of Chattaroy, 64, passed peacefully in her sleep on the 13th of January.
Debbie was born on July 27, 1959 to Ruben and Doris Finkbeiner of Odessa, Washington. After high school, Debbie studied Nursing at Big Bend Community College. She dedicated her life to honor and care for the elderly. Debbie spent over 32 years nurturing the residents of Royal Park Care Center in Spokane.
In 1977, Debbie met the love of her life, Greg. The two were married in 1979 and went on to have two children: Matt and Missi.
Debbie made it her mission to improve the lives of others, and living that mission is what made her an amazing wife, nurse, friend, sister and the very best Mom. Becoming a Grandmother was truly a dream come true for Debbie. She loved (and spoiled!) Nolan, Nora, Hudson and Vanessa beyond measure. When not at the kids’ sporting events or concerts, you could often find Debbie in her kitchen making casseroles, German dishes or Christmas cookies. She filled her home with warmth and kindness and enjoyed showing her love through cooking, acts of service and laughing with her loved ones.
Debbie’s beautiful smile, loving heart, and positive spirit are absolutely unmatched. We will miss her dearly.
Debbie is survived by her husband of 44 years, Greg Binder, and her two children, Matt Binder and Missi McCloskey. A private service will be held in her honor by her family.
