Dean Thomas Wade

On Thursday, November 15, 2018, Dean Thomas Wade, Tom to his friends, went home to be with the Lord at age 51.  Tom was born on February 18, 1967 in Bellingham, Washington to Carl and Betty Wade. Tom married Leanne Maroon on May 22, 1993.  Together they raised 4 children—Deanna, McKenzie, Allison and Caleb.  Tom loved the Lord and he showed that love in practical ways to those who were usually overlooked.  You knew Tom was around when you heard his boisterous and infectious laugh.  His ministry to teenagers as a youth pastor brought him immeasurable joy and impacted countless lives.  He and his family lived in Ethiopia for 3 years sharing God’s love, building life-long friendships, and teaching others about God’s plan for salvation.  Tom was deeply committed to his family and they have many special memories of cooking, drinking coffee, playing games, and great conversation.  Above all, Tom wanted the world to know that Jesus loves them. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at North Addison Baptist Church, 6120 N. Addison St., Spokane, WA.
