Constance Dee Farley passed away peacefully Sunday Oct. 25, 2026.
She was born in Chicago, IL, on November 22, 1933 and moved to Los Angeles, CA, when she was seven. She worked as a nurse at Daniel Freeman Hospital, when in 1954 she met and married the love of her life Tom Farley. They were blessed with two sons Dan and Tim. Later they gradually migrated to the Northwest stopping first in Portland, OR, then settling in Spokane. While in Spokane, Connie worked for 18 years as a nurse for Lilac Plaza.
After retiring they fulfilled their lifelong dream by building a home at Twin Lakes, ID, on the water's edge. Connie and Tom were very active in the church community of St. Stanislaus in Rathdrum. After Tom's passing in 2004, Connie remained active in the church, volunteering to teach catechism and serving on the Altar Society. She continued her life of service, into her late 80's, by volunteering at Twin Lakes Elementary School. Connie's greatest joy came from helping others and making new friends. Her door was always open and everyone was welcome.
Connie is survived by her sister Carol Watkins; her two sons Dan and Tim; their wives Robyn and Gretchen; and four grandchildren Joey, Hannah, Shannon and Landon.
Funeral services will be held at 11am on Monday, November 2, 2026 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Rathdrum ID. Reception to follow in church community center.
