Cheryl K Vincelet , 77, of Spokane, WA., passed away on August 13, 2021 surrounded by her family after a courageous 2 year battle with cancer. Cheryl was born in Spokane, WA to Samuel and Agnes Sharpe. She lived in Spokane all of her life and graduated from Shadle Park High School in 1961. In 1962 she married her first husband Robert C. Meese Sr. They had two sons, Robert C. Meese Jr. and Willard W. Meese. In 1972 she married her current husband Richard A. Vincelet. They had one son together, Richard A. Vincelet Jr. Cheryl worked for the State of Washington in numerous positions for over 30 years before retiring in 2005. Cheryl was completely dedicated to her family. She never forgot a birthday or holiday and always went out of her way to make those days’ special ones. She was an avid crafter making everything from kids Halloween costumes to holiday quilts. At Christmas time you could always count on a huge spread of homemade goodies for all to enjoy. Cheryl is survived by her husband of 49 years Richard, her sons Robert Jr. and Willard (Bill) and their father Robert Sr., step-daughter Judi Vincelet , step-son Tab Vincelet, and several grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents Samuel and Agnes Sharpe, her brother Willard Sharpe, and her son Richard Jr. A private burial service will take place at Greenwood Memorial Terrace. The family plans a celebration of life for Cheryl in the near future. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a charitable donation be made to Hospice House of Spokane.
