Betty Ellen Renford

We are sad to announce the passing of Betty Ellen Renford.  She was born April 10, 1927 in Dwight, Ill., to Ernest and Martha Johnson.  Betty married Jack on January 17, 1950 and they were married for 64 years, until Jack’s passing in 2014.  She was a stay-at-home mom to John and Sharon.  Betty was the ultimate volunteer, active in Lutheran Church Women, PTA, Sons of Norway and Boy and Girl Scouts.  She was a devout Christian and cherished friend.  Betty passed away October 20, 2023 at her home at Rockwood at Whitworth.  She was preceded in death by Jack, daughter Sharon and brothers Ken, Don and Russ.  Betty is survived by son John (Peggy), granddaughters Andrea (John) and Erika, great granddaughter Faith (Bruce).
