Betty Jean Miller

June 13, 1938 — March 21, 2023

Betty Jean Miller, age 84, of Deer Park, WA passed away on March 21, 2023.  Betty was born on June 13, 1938 in Fairfield, WA.  She was preceded by her parents Frank & Juanita Robinson, husband Harvey Miller, and sister June Ferguson.  She is survived by her brother John (Robbie) Robinson, sons Danny (Susi) Miller, Terry Miller, Larry Miller, & daughter Annette Pease.  Also 8 grandchildren Alan, Julie, Elizabeth, Christopher, Anthony, Molly, Brent, & Matthew as well as 11 great-grandchildren & numerous nieces and nephews.

She met Harvey while babysitting some of his cousins.  They were married on April 30, 1960 in Newport, WA and spent almost 48 years together. They moved onto the family farm with Harvey’s parents, Henry and Adelia, just outside of Deer Park, WA.  In 1971 Betty, Harvey, their children, and Harvey’s parents were declared Dairy Family of the Year for Washington State.  She and Harvey also owned and operated Custom Camper in Spokane for many years.  Some of her hobbies were reading romance books, word searches, puzzles and playing all sorts of board or card games.  She also enjoyed baking, cooking, and crocheting, but most of all she loved camping & traveling with Harvey in their 5th wheel or motor home.

Gravesite services will be at 10:30 am, Friday April 7, 2023 at Fairmount Memorial Cemetery in Spokane, WA.  Instead of flowers the family would prefer a donation be made to Hospice of Spokane in Betty’s name.
