Bernice Irene Robertson

Bernice Irene Robertson, 88, was born on December 9th 1929 in Spokane WA to Carl and Ruth Johnson. She was one of seven children: three boys and four girls. She passed away of natural causes at Avalon Northpoint on July 15th 2018.   A lifetime Spokanite, Bernice graduated from Rogers High School before entering the US Navy during the Korean War. She served from 1951 – 1955.  After her military service, Bernice worked at Kaiser Aluminum, at the Trentwood plant, for 28 years. She ended her employment there as a payroll officer.   Her sweet, strong spirit was felt by all who knew her, especially her family, who she cared for deeply. Bernice is survived by her three daughters (Tanya, Renée, and Elise), three grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.    The Viewing and Service will be held at Riplinger Funeral Home located at 4305 N Division. The Viewing is scheduled on Thursday, July 19th 2018 from 9:00am 3:30pm, followed by a Rosary Service from 3:30-4:00pm. The Funeral will be on Friday July 20th 2018 at 11:00am, followed by a private family interment with military honors.
