Her mom’s doctor would not miss his Christmas Dinner, so a second doctor had to be called. This doctor came from Grandview, Washington. She attended four different schools while living in the same place. The first was a one room school in Camden. She than attended Elk, Riverside, and graduated from Newport High School in 1950. After graduating she stayed and worked on the farm along with her parents and siblings until they sold. At this time, she would move to Spokane. She lived with her mom, dad and sister Vera. Alice worked for many years as a bookkeeper for Diamond Fuel, Utter Cadillac, Graham Oil, then retired from Becker Buick after 17 years with them. She also volunteered for Meals on Wheels and aided many Friends/Family and neighbors with their lives. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 of her brothers, Lee, Charlie, and Elbert 1 nephew, 1 niece and 1 great niece. Alice is survived by 2 sisters, Etta Tederman and Vera Pillers both of Spokane, and 1 brother Lauritz Pillers of Portland Oregon. She is also survived by 7 nieces, 6 nephews and numerous great nieces, nephews, and cousins. Alice was a member at Country Homes Christian Church. She had many friends and co-workers who will all miss her. Her Family would like to Thank ALL the wonderful people at Royal Park (her home away from home) for their constant care and love that they showed throughout her stay with them. You are Angels on Earth. Riplinger Funeral Home oversees arrangements. A small graveside gathering will be at Fairmount Memorial Park on Thursday March 18, 2021 at 11am. Due to COVID-19 the family will have a gathering of her friends/family this summer outside her home to celebrate her life.
