Jeanne L. Zappone

Jeanne Lorraine (Meadors) Zappone Our beloved mother passed away on Monday, June 21, 2010. Her lift to heaven was in her home surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She faced this most recent illness with a positive outlook and her usual spunk. Still sprinkling humor and great love into her final days. She was born April 4, 1934 to Bill and Jenny Meadors in Becket, MT. She was the youngest of six children, two boys and four girls. All are waiting with open arms for her. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Dick (Richard) Zappone, Sr. She has four children - Dick Zappone, Jr. of Coulee City, WA, Marie and Frank Farmer, Seattle, WA, Linda and Brad Emch, Spokane, WA and Theresa and Mike Stone, Spokane, WA. She was blessed with 14 grandchildren who gave her endless joy. Everyone she met heard countless stories of those babies. She has 16 great-grandchildren with more to come. Numerous nieces and nephews all far and wide. She did not fear this chapter in her life. She looked forward to seeing all who have gone before her, especially her mom and her cherished granddaughter Christina. For those still on this earth, heaven has welcomed the newest guardian angel. Trust that she was excited to perform this task for all. Donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in honor of the love of her life, our dad. Rosary service will be held Friday, June 25th, 2010 at 6PM at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 4305 N. DIVISION, SPOKANE, WA. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 26th, 2010 at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 2320 N. Cedar, Spokane, WA with Rev. Joachim Hien. Interment will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park Cemetery.
