John "Jack" Thornton

Thornton, John (Jack) A. (age 81) departed this life on Sunday, January 31, 2010. Having lived in Spokane for 47 years, Jack retired from Kaiser Aluminum and EWU after many years as a Computer Programmer. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Edna; sons, John, Greg, and Jeff; and daughter, Laurie. Jack also leaves behind his sister, Donna Mullen, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 9:00AM – 8:00PM on Wednesday and Thursday, February 3 and 4 at Riplinger Funeral Home 4305 N. Division Spokane, WA. Funeral service will begin at 1:30PM on Friday, February 5, 2010 at Riplinger Funeral Home followed by interment at Spokane Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
