James R. Studabaker

STUDABAKER, James R. (age 94) – Our beloved father and grandfather, died in his sleep on February 22nd. He was born in Lucerne, MO, on March 18th, 1923. He was a veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict. James joined the Spokane Fire Department on January 6th, 1946 and retired from there on March 30th, 1983. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; a son, Roy; and two brothers, David and Charles. James is survived by his sister, Sarah; a daughter, Julie; and grandson, David. An opportunity for a viewing will be Thursday, March 1st, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. at Riplinger Funeral Home, 4305 N Division, Spokane, WA. A funeral service will be held at the same location on Friday, March 2, 2018, at 10:00 AM, Pastor Bob Smith officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow at The Pines Cemetery, Opportunity, WA.
