Mary Jane Foster

Mary J. Foster (Crider), 83, passed away under the caring support of Hospice of Spokane surrounded by loving family on August 18, 2017. Born April 8, 1934, she lived an adventurous and wonderful life. She always said that her life unfolded like the chapters of the books she so loved to read. “One chapter closes and a new one opens.” She has simply started her next chapter. She loved horseback riding, country living, ocean cruising, flying, her cats, computers, and her family. She is survived by her three sons, Gary Wells (Robin), Peter Michalowicz (Beth), and Paul Michalowicz (Lori), as well as her sister, Virginia Bown, her nieces, Carolyn Arthur (Matt) and Deborah Cameron (Jess), and assorted grandchildren, grandnephews, grandniece, and great-grandchildren. A small service will be held at Fairmount Memorial Park in Spokane on August 27, 2017 at 1:00 pm. In lieu flowers, donations to Hospice of Spokane would be greatly appreciated to support the wonderful work they do.
