Jacquelyn Mae Hesse

Jacquelyn Mae Hesse went to the arms of Jesus on July 27, 2017, at 85 years of age. She was born in Spokane, Washington, May 20, 1932. She was adopted by John Thomas and Margaret Rose George at birth. She graduated from Rogers High School in 1950. She married Fred Hesse, February 16, 1951. They lived in Honolulu, Hawaii while Fred was stationed there with the Navy. Upon his discharge, they made their home in Spokane and awaited the arrival of their first child, Connie. Two sisters, Susan and Audrey were added over time. Jackie was musically gifted. She played clarinet with the Rogers Marching Band, then learned piano and later the organ. She used her piano and organ skills in the churches the family attended over the years. Jackie became the Music Librarian for the Youth Orchestra and Junior Symphony for several years while her girls were members. The art of macramé caught her fancy and she learned to do many different things. Jackie won the blue ribbon at the Spokane County Fair for her macramé nativity scene Jackie is survived by her husband Fred; daughters, Connie (Bob), Susan (Arnold), Audrey (Kelly); six grandchildren; David, Stuart, Michelle, Stefanie, Tommie, Robbie, and two great grandchildren, Owen and Luna. Visitation will be held on Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Services will be held on Friday, August 4, 2017, at 11: 00 a.m. at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME, 4305 N. DIVISION, SPOKANE, WA. Interment will follow at Greenwood Memorial Terrace Cemetery, Spokane, WA.
