Douglas Guy Greninger

GRENINGER, Douglas Guy (Age 67) – Born on July 12, 1949 in Seattle, WA; he entered the gates of heaven on March 6, 2017 in Colbert, WA. A resident of Spokane for 27 years. Doug was a 4th generation lather. Doug was a season ticket holder with the Spokane Chiefs “Go Chiefs Go”. He was a member of True Hope Church, spreading the love and word of Jesus Christ. Doug encouraged others to “lean in” and “give it up to Jesus”. He had the best hugs! He loved his family and friends. Doug is survived by his wife of 36 years, Susan “K” Greninger; son, Karl Greninger of Eagle River, AK; daughter, Heidi Fitzgerald of Snohomish, WA; brother, Dennis Greninger; sisters, Cheryl Hellam and Judy Barnes; sister-in-law, Jo Ellen Epperson; four grandchildren, Jeremy Fitzgerald, Lauren Fitzgerald, Morgan Greninger and Ella Greninger. A celebration of Doug’s life will be held in the spring.
