Betty M. Laird

LAIRD, Betty M. (Welch )(Age 86) – Born on September 24, 1930 in Rugby, North Dakota to Lawren and Avis Welch. Betty graduated from High School in Minot, ND. She later graduated from St. Alexius School of Nursing in Bismarck, ND. Betty married David T. Laird on October 24, 1954 in Minot, ND. Preceded in death by husband, David; father, Lawren Welch; mother, Avis (Welch) Lydon; sisters, Ardell Smith and Cleo Overcast. Betty is survived by sons, Jeffrey S. Laird and Peter H. Laird; five grandchildren, Mark, Aaron, Mirranda, Shania and Wyatt; and numerous, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held on Thursday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Riplinger Funeral Home, Spokane, WA. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. at Spokane First Church of the Nazarene, 9004 N. Country Homes Blvd., Spokane, WA. Private interment Fairmount Memorial Park, Spokane, WA
