Lyle Eugene Jones

Lyle Jones was born June 17, 1954 in Spokane, Washington to Darrell Gene Jones and Emma Marie (Jones) Willis. He passed away January 4, 2017 at the age of 62 at Sacred Heart Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Lyle was preceded in death by his father, Darrell Jones; step father, Donald Willis, Sr.; and step sister, Pamela Willis MacKenzie. He is survived by his mom, Emma Willis; sister, Connie Jones (Martin); brother, Larry Jones; son, Jeremy Jones; step brother, Donald Willis Jr (Ann); step sister, Heidi Marskell; 9 nieces and nephews and 4 great nieces and nephews. Lyle worked in construction and as a maintenance worker for many years in the Spokane area when he could not be doing what he loved most which is being a commercial fisherman on the Kodiak Island and the Bering Sea. He had love for the outdoors and traveled many miles on his motorcycle enjoying the open road. He lived life to the fullest, was a good Samaritan on earth and will make a fine Angel. A graveside service will be held on Saturday January 14th 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Peone Cemetery and a remembrance at Colbert Chapel immediately following.
