Russell Jay Brookshire

Russell Jay Brookshire, (Age 83) - Died November 16th 2016 at the Hospice House of Spokane following a brief battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lucille (Palmer) Brookshire; his daughters, LuAnne Jennings and Sandra Lindgrin; his sons, Dennis Brookshire and Russell Joe Brookshire. Russell was preceded in death by his two sons, Fred John Brookshire and Kim Jody Brookshire and one son-in-law, Martin Lindgrin. He has 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Russell was born in Post Falls, Idaho to Fred and Alice Brookshire. He lived his entire life in the Spokane area. He retired from Kaiser Aluminum Mead after 32 years where he worked as a heavy crane operator and in Pot Lining. Russell had a passion for music and humor. He loved giving to others by playing the role of RoRo the clown and Santa Claus. He will be missed by many friends and family. Please make donations to the Hospice House of Spokane.
