Gloria Mae Kuhry

Kuhry, Gloria Mae (age 83) entered into rest on April 18, 2009. Gloria was born on August 26, 1925 to parents Bailey and Marie Cook in Tucson, AZ. She graduated from Citrus Union High School, Azusa, CA in 1943 and in 1945, she married her loving husband, Charles Kuhry. Gloria and Charles began a life together, moved to the Spokane area, and raised their family. They built a home in Deer Lake and a home in Yuma, AZ. For 16 years, they spent their summers at the lake and their winters in Yuma. After the passing of husband Charles, in 2004, Gloria moved into Spokane with her daughter. She enjoyed fishing, knitting, and oil painting. Gloria is survived by her daughter, Jan Christensen of Spokane; sons, Don Kuhry and Mike Kuhry both of Fernley, NV; brother, Jim Cook; her sister, Grace Sachau; 9 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
