John J. "Jack" Forney

John J. “Jack” Forney 77 Years Old Passed away April 16,2016 after cancer surgery. Jack was born January 23, 1939 in Chewelah Washington to Floyd and Doris Forney of Springdale Washington. He graduated from Springdale High School and worked as a mechanic in Spokane for many years. He married Verna [Cox] Dec 1, 1961. Jack’s greatest passion was car racing, gardening and farming on their farm just outside of Deer Park. He was preceded in death by his parents and his younger brother Ray. Jack is survived by his wife of 54 years, Verna, sons Curt [Jackie] of Clayton, Wa., Craig [Eileen] of Kent, Wa., Camron of Spokane, Wa., daughter Kim Forney of Deer Park, Wa. and his two grandchildren Evan and Catherine of Kent, Wa. He is also survived by his sister Carol Anest of Medical Lake, Wa. A service will be held April 30, 2016 at the Woodland Cemetery, 5410 W. Monroe Rd. Deer Park at 2 pm.
