Marilyn Lenhard Bristol Hueber - Marilyn passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord on March 23, 2016. Born to Edgar and Emma Falk on April 12, 1930, she had a wonderful childhood on the farm in Deer Park. She attended and graduated from Deer Park and then attended Colorado Women’s College in Denver. She married Wayne Lenhard of Deer Park in 1950 and was a homemaker. Their two children grew up experiencing many of her same fond childhood memories on the farm in Deer Park. Upon her husband’s declining health, she attended Kinman Business College and went to work in 1964 at Deer Park’s Rainier Bank as a secretary, where she retired from in 1986. She was widowed three times; marrying T.A. Jack Bristol, a business owner in Deer Park in 1969, and Donald Hueber, a Gonzaga professor from Spokane in 1984. Marilyn will be remembered for her love of gardening and flowers. She created flower beds that were a seasonal feast of color to gaze upon. She also enjoyed traveling the U.S. and the world. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Dwane Lenhard; her three husbands and companion, Bruce Patterson. She is survived by her daughter, Joan (John) Towell of Tieton, WA and her two grandchildren: Nathan (Sara) Towell of Tieton and Aaron (Lindsey) Towell of Spokane; seven great grand-children; the Hueber family that always included her in family events throughout the years; and Harry Siria, the last love of her life during the past 10 years. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 16, at Mountain View Assembly of God, 633 E. Magnesium Road in Spokane. A lunch at the church will follow for those who attend the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a tax-deductible donation be made for Marilyn’s great-niece and husband who are adopting three orphaned siblings from Uganda. Checks can be made out to EAC (an international adoption agency) and mailed to Riplinger Funeral Home, 4305 North Division Street, Spokane, WA 99207.
