Andersen-Clayburn, Delores E. (age 87) entered into rest and began her final journey on April 1, 2016 with family at her side. She was born August 15, 1928 in Plentywood, MT to parents CB and Bessie Robinson. Delores married Leonard W. Andersen in 1949, and together had two daughters. They moved to Coeur d'Alene, ID in 1955. Upon marriage to Jerry, Delores not only gained his loving family but also acquired a large Masonic family that together they enjoyed and supported in many ways throughout the years. She loved life, entertaining family and friends, gardening, playing cards, board games, dancing, cooking, baking, animals, and the great outdoors. Delores struggled from birth with hearing loss, however was able to over come through her education, hearing-aids, and lip reading You would not have known, unless maybe you heard her aids squeal when you hugged her. Delores was a HUGGER and had the most amazing smile, infectiously distinctive laugh, and a great sense of humor. Delores had a loving and giving heart, that will be greatly missed by the many lives she touched. Delores is survived by her husband of 21 years, Jerry; daughters, Sandra Storseth of Spokane and her daughter Heather Storseth of NV and Susan Miller (Ralph) of Spokane and their daughter Kyla (Troy) and great-granddaughter Shayla Hosmer of TX; step-children; Cheryl (Jim) Patera of Iowa, Bruce (GayAnn) Clayburn of Nine Mile, and Robert "Yen" (Julie) Sidd of CA; grandchildren, Mike and Erin Patera, Brian and Angie Patera, Jared and Melissa Clayburn, and David Sidd; and great-grandchildren, Abbey, Tate, Ellie, Reed, Alexis, Will, Maddy, Jamison, and Piper She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Leonard Andersen, a sister, 2 brothers, and a granddaughter, Desiree Clayburn.
