Ellen Louise Swan

Swan, Ellen Louise (Carlton) (Age 70) Passed away peacefully January 25, 2016 at Spokane Hospice House. She was born December 13, 1945 in Spokane to Robert W & Elsie M (Blomberg) Carlton. She attended North Central High School. She was a Spokane resident for the majority of her life. She worked various jobs from accounting, secretarial, business owner, cleaning houses & working with disabled young adults. She loved the friendships she made with her elderly clients that she cleaned houses for and had a true calling with the young adults she mentored. She loved summer time and being outdoors gardening, listening to music and dancing with her grandson Wyatt Wilson. She had a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh. Ellen was preceded in death by her parents and husband Jerry L Swan of more than 20 years. Survived by two sisters Sharon Brazington & Carolyn Rehor both of Liberty Lake. Three Children, William N Swan of Chewelah, Shelle L Burbank (Nick) of Republic & Jason R Wilson (Krissy Salter) of Spokane. 13 Grandchildren & 7 Great-Grandchildren. Graveside services will be on March 4, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Fairmount Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Hospice House of Spokane.
