Clara Marie Clausen

CLAUSEN, Clara M. (age 93) -Our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away on August 23, 2015. Clara Marie Clausen was born to Milton Bradley and Clara Moore on April 17, 1922 in Turner, Kansas. Her husband, Elmer G. Clausen, preceded her in death. Clara met Elmer during WWII at a roller skating rink in Kansas. They were married in Phenix City, Alabama on March 17, 1945. Clara was a homemaker and helped her husband with his home building business. They were happily married for 52 years. Clara was blessed to have three sons Robert, Carl, & Mark, a daughter Sue Hendrickson, seven grandchildren (Cassandra, Ian, Eric, Christopher, Mia, Emily, and Courtney) and four great-grandchildren (Cole, Ella, Olive, and Levi). A memorial service was held on August 28, 2015 at Riplinger Funeral Home with immediate family. Interment took place at Fairmount Memorial Cemetery. The family would like to thank her niece, Karen for always being there, also Debra and the entire staff at Claire Bridge and Hospice for all the care they gave our mom during the past few years.
