Richard F. LaFollette

LaFOLLETTE, Richard Frank (age 85) – Entered into rest on July 23, 2015 in Spokane WA, where he has resided for the past 2 years. Born in Forest Grove, OR, Richard graduated from Amity High School, Amity, OR , in 1949. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. Following service, he worked for Bingham-Willamette Co. and Oregon Steel Mills until his retirement in 1994. Richard married the love of his life, Darlene Husted, in 1959, and they raised two children together: Donna Vreeland of Spokane, WA, and Dean LaFollette, of Riverview, FL. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Spokane and enjoyed golfing and bowling. He is survived by his wife, Darlene; children, Donna and Dean; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Graveside service and military honors will be held on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 3:00 PM at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery, Medical Lake, WA.
