Maxine Margaret (Warren) Peachey May 19, 1925 – April 24, 2015 Maxine Margaret (Warren) Peachey was born to Harriet Kirk and Edmund Warren on May 19, 1925. She passed away at Fairview Assisted Living in Spokane on April 24, 2015. Maxine would have celebrated her 90th birthday on May 19, 2015. Born and raised in Nyssa, Oregon, she met and married James Rodney Peachey in 1945. They moved to Spokane, Washington, where Maxine began a long career in banking, first working nights at Spokane and Eastern, and later providing great service for 31 years to her customers at the Millwood Branch of Seattle First National Bank. She retired in December, 1986. Maxine and Jim had two children, Sally and James J. Peachey. Maxine was devoted to her children and grandchildren, who brought her much happiness. Maxine enjoyed spending time in her yard and was considered a master gardener. She resided in her home in the Spokane Valley for over 60 years. She was an honest and exemplary individual, known for her serious personality, her mischievous sense of humor and her unwavering belief in God. Maxine was thoroughly enjoyed by all who knew her and she enjoyed most everyone she met. Mom was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Peachey, her brother Gerald Warren and sister Donna Jean (Warren) King. She is survived by her sister, Helen (Warren) Willis of Ontario, Oregon, and by her children and their spouses: Sally and Arnold Stone, J and Mabing Peachey, grandchildren Jason Peachey, Janelle Peachey, Chad Knodel, Ryan Knodel, Lindstrom Stone and great-grandchildren Dustin Knodel, Blake Riley, Daytona Knodel and Traygen Knodel. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 1st, at Pines Cemetery Mausoleum in the Spokane Valley. In lieu of flowers, Maxine would be honored by donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or Union Gospel Mission in Spokane, two charities she believed in and actively supported. We love you, Mom. It has been a privilege to have you with us for all of these years.
