Ethel May Webb

Ethel WebbOur beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend passed away April 20th at the age of 79.  Ethel was born April 26, 1935 in San Francisco, CA.  She moved to Spokane in 1963 with her husband, three children, one cat, one dog, and two garbage cans (the refrigerator had to stay behind).  The most important things to Ethel were her children and grandchildren.  She loved to gamble, play Bingo, watch her grandsons play hockey and take her grandkids camping.  Those that knew Ethel will remember her for her "expert" advice and opinions.  For those that were blessed to be in her family, she would give everything to take care of them.  She was so proud of all of her grandchildren and their many accomplishments.  For years, she was involved in youth bowling at Imperial Lanes and coached several high school teams that went to state.  Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Doug.  She is survived by her children, Patrick, Doreen (Brent), Gunner (Rolanda), Danny, Greg (Pam) McGiboney, her grandchildren, Jennifer (Nick), Richard (Kristy), Jillian, Ryan, and great-grandchildren, Jaxson and Hunter.  She is also survived by her sisters, Sandra (Bob) Lara, Jackie (Jean) Avnel, Patrick (Gale) Reynolds, many nieces and nephews.  A Celebration of Life is planned for 2PM Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the home of Gunner and Rolanda.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
