Verble A Smith

SMITH, Verble A. (age 82) Passed away peacefully on April 14, 2015. He was born on August 7, 1932 in Woodrow, Arkansas. He married Gloria V. Mantei on January 20, 1953 in Spokane, WA, while serving in the US Army. Together, they raised their four children, Gwendolyn, Ray, Mark, and Bill Smith. Verble loved any outdoor activity, including hunting, fishing, camping, and four-wheeling. But spending time with his family was what he enjoyed most. Verble was preceded in death by his wife Gloria, and his daughter Gwendolyn, numerous brothers and sisters. He is survived by his sister Patti; sons, Ray, Mark and Bill; numerous grand and great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday, April 17 from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME 4305 N DIVISION SPOKANE, WA.Funeral service will begin at 9:00AM on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the funeral home followed by interment at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.
