Helen Marie Foster

FOSTER, Helen Marie (age 95) - Entered into rest on December 16, 2014 in Spokane, WA. Born in Tacoma, Helen moved with her family to Spokane as a youngster. She attended local schools and graduated from Mead High School. During WWII, she worked for Boeing Aircraft and following the war, moved to San Francisco, CA, to work as a stenographer in the Banking Industry. In Spokane, Helen worked at Simchuck Sporting Goods store. While living in California, she met Russ Foster, and soon became husband and wife. They loved each other very much. They also loved to bowl and traveled often with their league of friends to bowl all around the world. Her sweetheart, Russ preceded her in death. Helen is survived by her nephew, Jack Gambill and great-nephews, Gregory, Thomas, Benjamin, and James Gambill. A graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, Spokane, WA, with Pastor Bob Smith officiating.
