Betty Jo Stein

Stein, Betty Jo (age 80) Entered into rest on September 21, 2014. She was born in Williston, North Dakota on August 16, 1934 to parents Ted and Erma Hintz. A resident of Spokane for over 60 years, Betty Jo graduated from Marycliff in 1952. She married Henry J. Stein in 1987, and together, they made Spokane their home. Betty Jo worked as the office manager of the Moose Lodge #161 before retiring in 1988. She enjoyed playing bridge and reading. Betty Jo is survived by her husband Col. Henry J. Stein; children, Machelle and Rick Rzepka, John Martin, Silvia Stein, Rita Stein, Rico Stein; sisters, Charlotte Boxer, Francine Boxer, MaryAnn Ramotowski, and eight grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3, 2014 beginning at 9:00AM in the Chapel on the grounds of Holy Cross Cemetery 7200 N. Wall St., followed by interment.
